The end of Los Ratones is now official, as announced by the organization's CEO, Marc Robert “Caedrel” Lamont, in a lengthy video posted on the group's YouTube channel: “Los Ratones will be closing. That was it. This is the end of the journey." At the same time, he clarified that there will be no return for LR: "it is extremely possible that he will never return. It starts and ends with this team. It starts and ends with these players."
After more than a year of activity, Los Ratones is coming to an end. In just over a year of competition, the team has won all three 2025 NLC splits, as well as two EMEA Masters titles. He also had the opportunity to participate in the inaugural LEC Versus 2026 tournament, alongside Karmine Corp Blue.
Last November, Caedrel had already confirmed that Los Ratones would not be joining the NLC or any other ERL after the LEC Versus split, denying rumors linking the team with a possible move to another European Tier 2 league. Several members of the club also announced that they would not be continuing beyond LR, including Martin "Rekkles" Larsson, Simon "Baus" Hofverberg and Jakob "YamatoCannon" Mebdi.
